How fees work
If you pay yourself
You pay us directly, for each hour or for a course of hours paid once. We do not bill Medicare or any other plan, and we tell you what an hour costs before you book. A course has its own terms, and you get a full refund before your first hour.
Receipts for reimbursement
After each payment you get an itemized receipt to send to your plan. Your plan may or may not reimburse you from the receipt (a superbill), and we cannot tell you in advance.
An estimate in advance
If you pay without insurance, we give you a written good faith estimate in advance of your first visit and before any course of hours. If a bill comes to $400 or more above the estimate, you have the right to dispute it. Ask for a new estimate whenever your plan of care changes.
Checking your benefits
We do not check benefits, because we do not bill your plan. If you hope to be reimbursed, call your plan first and ask about out-of-network physical therapy and what a receipt must show.
What the first visit includes
A full hour with one physical therapist: your history, a hands-on exam, a written plan and an estimate for what comes next. Your therapist explains the risks of any technique before using it.
Ask for an estimate
Tell us what you are thinking of booking and we will send a written estimate before you pay.
